Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
1. Introduction
Dramora is an informational application designed to help users discover Korean and Turkish dramas. It is not a streaming, download, or media hosting service. We are committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring full transparency.
2. Information We Collect
Dramora does not require accounts and does not ask users to submit personally identifiable information. The app stores personal preferences and history locally on the user's device only.
3. Advertising Identifiers & Third-Party Data
We and our advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID — AAID) to provide personalized ads and measure ad performance. Users can reset or disable ad personalization from their device settings.
4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
- Watchlist (saved dramas)
- Search history
- Viewing history
- App settings (language and region preferences)
These items stay on your device and can be cleared from the app settings.
5. Third-Party Services
a) TMDB API
We use The Movie Database (TMDB) API to provide drama information such as titles, posters, cast, seasons, ratings, genres, and official availability references.
TMDB Privacy PolicyDisclaimer: This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
b) Dramora API Proxy
To protect API credentials and improve reliability, the Android app communicates with our secure backend server hosted at dramora.deltarank.app rather than calling third-party APIs directly. This server-side proxy forwards requests to the appropriate data providers and applies basic abuse protection and response caching.
The proxy does not create user accounts, profiles, or personal content records. As a technical necessity, it briefly processes the IP address of each request for security and abuse prevention — this data is not stored, logged, or linked to any individual user.
c) Google AdMob (Android only)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect:
- Device identifiers (such as AAID)
- IP address
- Ad interaction data
This data is used for ad personalization, analytics, and fraud prevention. Ads displayed may be personalized or non-personalized depending on user consent and region.
6. Consent
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP SDK) to obtain explicit user consent before serving personalized advertisements, in compliance with GDPR. For users outside the EEA, personalized ads may be served by default based on AdMob's standard practices. All users can opt out via their device settings under Google › Ads. Consent choices can be modified at any time within the app.
7. Data Retention
We do not retain watchlists, search history, viewing history, or account data on our servers. Third-party services may retain data according to their own privacy policies. Local data remains on the user's device until manually deleted.
8. Data Deletion Instructions
Users can delete locally stored watchlist, search history, and viewing history at any time through the app settings. For third-party data deletion, refer to the respective privacy policies of those services (e.g., Google AdMob).
9. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including access to your data, request deletion, or object to data processing. Since Dramora does not store personal data on our servers, such requests regarding advertising data should be directed to the relevant third-party services.
10. Children's Privacy
Dramora is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Ad Availability Requirement
Advertisements are essential to keeping Dramora free of charge. The app checks whether advertisements can be properly loaded before granting access to features. If ad-blocking software, a VPN, or network settings prevent ads from loading, the app will display a notice and will not function until resolved. This check does not collect or store any personal data — it only verifies whether advertising infrastructure is reachable from your device.
12. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to ensure the app operates securely. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
13. International Data Transfers
Data collected by third-party services (such as Google AdMob) may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. By using Dramora, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws. Where required, such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards as described in the third-party service's privacy policy.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
